Reviews Code of Conduct
tell Charlie B.V. offers a service (in the form of a web-platform) for accommodation providers through which feedback from accommodation guests is acquired and combined with guest data resulting in improvement and performance ideas for accommodation providers. tell Charlie will contact guests before, during and after their stay. Within each of the aforementioned stages, guests may choose to leave a review or comment on their experience at the accommodation provider.
Only guests who have participated in the tell Charlie service and stayed at the accommodation provider will be invited by tell Charlie to comment on their stay at their respective accommodation provider. These comments or reviews can include, but are not limited, to the following aspects:
- Qualitative text review on guest experience
- Quantitative rating of guest experience
tell Charlie owns sole discretion over the reviews left by guests within the tell Charlie web-platform. tell Charlie may (a) upload parts or the complete guest review on to relevant accommodation provider's web pages for the sole purpose of informing future guests of current opinions of the service (level) and quality of the accommodation provider, and (b) used and placed by tell Charlie on our web-platform or such social media platforms, newsletters, special promotions, applications, or other channels owned, hosted, used or controlled by tell Charlie or its' parent corporation of Trivago N.V. (or their subsidiaries) or tell Charlie's commercial partners.
tell Charlie reserves the right to adjust, refuse, or remove reviews at our sole discretion insofar a review violates our review policy. tell Charlie will not accept reviews which include:
- Profanity, sexually explicit, hate speech, discriminatory, threats, violence
- Mention of full names, personal attacks towards staff of accommodation providers
- Promoting illegal activities (e.g. drugs, prostitution)
- Sites, emails and addresses, phone numbers, Credit Card details
- Reference to stolen goods
- Comparisons to competitors
tell Charlie does not compensate or otherwise reward guests for completing a review. The guest review questionnaire does not include any offers, invitations or incentives whatsoever.
